Dr. Arnold M. Hertz
Dr. Arnold Hertz started his private practice in 1981 after completing a surgical residency through the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He was appointed Chief Resident in Podiatric Surgery.
During that time he gained extensive experience in Reconstructive Foot Surgery, Emergency Room Trauma, General Orthopedics, routine foot problems, as well as treating severe foot infections in the Vascularly Impaired and the high-risk Diabetic Foot.
From 1998 to 2003 Dr. Hertz practiced with the South Island Orthopedic Group, in Cedarhurst, New York, where he practiced with 5 Orthopedic Surgeons with various sub-specialties. At that time Dr. Hertz was the group specialist in treating foot and ankle problems.
In April of 2003, Dr. Hertz opened his new office, with the latest equipment, in a "Patient-Friendly Environment". He continues to maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in medicine and surgery by taking post-graduate courses and workshops on a regular basis so that he can offer his patients the newest and best treatments available. He enjoys educating his patients and explaining there foot and ankle problems so that together the best treatment for that patient and their particular condition can be found.
Dr. Hertz is currently the Director of the Department of Podiatry and Director of the Three Year Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
Dr. Jacob D. Leigh
Dr. Leigh is practicing at ATM Foot Care PLLC, Dr. Jacob Leigh is a skilled podiatrist. He caters to the podiatric needs of the locals of long island and strives to ensure all his patients feel well cared for. He also sees patients at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital and surgical center. He has a passion for practicing cost-effective and evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Leigh earned his degree in podiatry from Temple University. He subsequently completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery with reconstruction of rear foot and ankle at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. He is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He shares a great rapport with his patients, he is known for his medical knowledge and dedication amongest them and his team.
Trained to address a broad range of foot and ankle problems, Dr. Leigh also specializes in wound care, and sports injuries. He understands how hectic life can be balancing work and home duties and how there is often no time for foot pain. He is committed to getting you back to your normal hectic life as soon as possible. Additionally, he can converse with his patients in English as well as Korean.
Selena - Podiatric Medical Assistant
Selena joined our practice two years ago, and has quickly become a valuable asset to our practice. She brought with her 5 years of previous experience as a Podiatry Assistant, and obtained her certificate as a Medical Office Assistant in 2003. She assists the doctors in preparing the patient for treatment and office procedures.
